Royal Marines Deploy New Snowmobile Fleet to Enhance Arctic Operations

The British Royal Marines have significantly bolstered their winter operational capabilities with the introduction of 159 new snowmobiles, representing a remarkable milestone in defence procurement efficiency.

The Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron (SRS) from Plymouth-based 30 Commando Information Exploitation Group has already begun putting these vehicles through their paces as part of their Winter Deployment exercises, with early feedback indicating significant improvements in mobility and operational reach.
