Role Overview:
Are you a hands-on professional with expertise in welding, brazing and mechanical assembly? We're looking for a skilled Welding and Brazing Fabricator to join our team. If you have a passion for precision and are experienced in reading technical drawings, soldering, and assembling mechanical products, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble sub-assemblies, including fans, motors, and heaters.

  • Use a variety of hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, torque wrenches) and power tools to complete tasks.

  • Perform soldering and brazing on small components to ensure secure and accurate connections.

  • Fit, bend, and work with pipes to meet assembly requirements.

  • Utilize measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres to ensure precise assembly.

  • Follow detailed technical drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet product specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with PUWER regulations during all work activities.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly with a strong understanding of assembly processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools like verniers and micrometres.

  • Experience with brazing, soldering, and plasma welding (desirable).

  • Pipe fitting and/or pipe bending skills (desirable).

  • Soldering qualifications and F-Gas accreditation are a plus.

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS clearance.

  • You must be able to provide a full 3-year employment history.

  • A CRB check and address verification will be required.
