Role Dimensions:

This role requires flexibility, including working unsocial hours and frequent travel within the UK, Europe, and occasionally worldwide to support off-site testing and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and maintain prototype, concept, mule, and production-level vehicles, as well as simulation rigs, to the highest standards, following specified processes where applicable.
  • Conduct updates, modifications, and repairs to support ongoing development programs.
  • Prepare and operate vehicles for testing and development at various locations, including industry proving grounds and racetracks.
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to define and achieve technical requirements, specifications, and performance targets.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and instrumentation schedules to ensure precise and safe vehicle builds, modifications, and updates.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional workshop environment, ensuring all tools and equipment meet high standards.
  • Subject to the appropriate internal driving standards, operate high-value, high-performance vehicles in workshop, road, and testing environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in motorsport, prototype, low-volume, or high-performance vehicle builds, including assembly, manufacturing, and operational aspects.
  • Welding, machining, and fabrication skills are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with modern automotive electrical and electronic systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults, is beneficial.
  • Experience with diagnostic platforms such as MONaco, CANape, and INCA is desirable.
  • Valid driving license and passport.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Office and Virtual Car software.
