Tower Supervisor

Mane Energy are working with a leading electrical company who are currently looking for a tower supervisor overseeing the pre-assembly of wind turbines.

Initial 6 month contract

Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced in Pre-assembly tower completion activities, must be able to evidence experience working in a similar role overseeing tower construction activities within the wind industry.
• Driving PL and Preassembly activities, schedule and progress.
• Report on timings recorded Contractor and issue reports on Contractors progress to Site Management team.
• Be able to and having the confidence to challenge the Contractor on execution, planning and work ethic of all works required under base scope tower completions and PLI works.
• Preparation work for future load outs (Materials handling)
• Carrying out Pre walk with Contractor before Quality walkdown.
• Ensure contractor is working effectively and efficiently.
• Identify gaps in planning and work ethic of Contractor.
• Must have a lean mindset with the delivery of a load out.
• Will work closely with the Quality team for the verification, validity and follow up actions on all non-standard works (PLI's, NCR's and ECO's) across the tower pre-assembly builds.
• Will be the point of contact between the Contractor and Site warehouse/logistics department for organisation, retrieval, and identification of all tower parts.
• Be health and safety conscious.
