The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the Electro-Optical (EO) Seekers & Sensors Department. This role involves providing specialist EO design support for complex weapon programmes, from specification and assessment to delivery and support. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of EO Seekers & Sensors, collaborating with specialist teams and external partners to meet demanding customer requirements. The work is dynamic and varied, offering the chance to contribute to cutting-edge R&D initiatives. You'll be part of a highly skilled team, with strong support for professional development and a balanced work-life environment.

What we want from you:

• Requirements analysis, specification, and validation
• System architecture design and modeling
• Conducting system trade studies to support design decisions
• Systems proving, design assurance, and certification
• Proficiency with systems engineering tools (e.g., IBM DOORS Next, Rhapsody, etc.)
