Supplier Quality & Development Engineer

Principal Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive collaborative behaviors that ensure optimal outcomes for profitability.
• Maintain an onsite presence at suppliers to oversee activities such as trials, builds, and related processes.
• Conduct Supplier and Part Risk Assessments, developing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation actions.
• Provide regular supplier progress reports to the Purchasing and SQA Program teams, covering open issues, PPAP part pedigree before each build phase, and PPAP delivery forecast/actual confirmation.
• Track and manage PPAP part approval to ensure alignment with the agreed delivery plan.
• Manage the Non-PPAP part concession process, ensuring the establishment of a "Plan for Every Part" to support builds.
• Ensure the successful delivery of Quality & Capacity Verification in line with targets.
• Lead the resolution of major open issues, ensuring full engagement from the Supplier Senior Management team throughout the resolution process.
• Develop and implement improvement strategies with suppliers, ensuring successful execution and delivery of identified improvements.
