Supplier Development Manager
Location: Stevenage or Bolton (Relocation Package Available)
Work Arrangement: Flexible - typically 2 days per week on-site
Salary: Up to £50,000, depending on experience

The Role:
We are seeking a Supplier Development Manager to join our Sub-Assemblies team at ISP, supporting the ramp-up of deliveries. This is a dynamic and critical role where you will apply your expertise to enhance supplier performance, capability, and risk management.
Collaborating across a range of UK programmes, you will navigate both mature and emerging technologies in a rapidly evolving environment. Your strategic approach will be key in driving supplier excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree-level qualifications preferred, with experience in international supply chain management within high-tech industries
- Expertise in supply chain management or supplier development within Aerospace, Defence, or Manufacturing sectors
- Proven track record of improving supplier performance (delivery and quality) using lean methodologies
- Ability to conduct capacity audits to identify key bottlenecks and manage sub-tier mapping activities
- Strong skills in managing a supplier portfolio, reporting performance, and mitigating supply chain risks
- Experience in process flow validation, lead time analysis, and applying root cause analysis techniques like DMAIC
- Competence in risk identification and the creation of mitigation and improvement plans
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide executive summaries
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of business maturity, planning, control, and relationship management
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- SC21 Practitioner experience is desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities
- Results-driven and determined to succeed
Security Clearance:
