Stores Operative Tooling & Fixtures

The Stores Tooling and Fixtures Specialist will be responsible for managing and allocating tooling and fixtures at our storage facility, ensuring proper storage and addressing any discrepancies with the tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting deliveries
• Maintaining accurate records in the MRP system
• Organizing and allocating tooling and fixtures as needed
• Performing various tasks as required by the line manager and in line with the organization's overall objectives

Knowledge:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with SAGE/MRP systems for stock allocation, issuing, transfer, and level checks
• Understanding of product traceability, including stock history, batch numbers, certificates of conformity, and work orders
• Implementation of stock rotation practices
• Good understanding of units of measure
• Familiarity with relevant documentation (certificates, dispatch notes, etc.)
• Knowledge of transport booking, associated paperwork, and couriers (advantageous)

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to set and maintain high standards of housekeeping in the department
• Experience in managing projects to meet deadlines
