Shore End Installation Engineer

Mane Energy are currently looking for experienced Shore End Installation Engineer for one of our clients who is leading supplier of submarine telecom cables.

Location: London, UK and international

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Task:

• Subcontractors' Method of Procedures, Plan of Works, Dive Plans, Health, Safety, and Environment plans, and related operational documentation are technical evaluated to make sure they meet client's requirements and incorporate lessons learned.
• Operational and technical support for the After Sales and Project implementation teams, including site representative briefings and follow-up on change request and incident reporting management.
• Technical evaluations of the reports that client's subcontractors submitted for Shore End Installation.
• Assisting in the development and on-site application of client's proprietary shallow water burial and shore end installation services.
• Helping with cable landing point site surveys to determine suitability, find affordable installation options, and look into the suitability and availability of local resources.
  Examining pre- and post-shore end installation dive video surveys.
  Taking part in shore end landing preparations and pre-landing meetings, coordinating beach work, and communicating

Required:

• Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience in the marine installation, preferably in the submarine cable industry.
• Lifting and rigging, Subsea burial techniques, Beach excavations, and Commercial diving experience would be advantageous.
• Experience in subcontractor and client relationships.
