Senior Materials Planner

Join a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company in Bristol to support the Bills of Materials manufacture and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop 'Bills of Material/Manufacture' in support of the ERP system go-live and day-to-day operations thereafter.
• To develop and apply System level Operations (routings) strategy/policy to support planning across sales order configuration, engineering, purchasing, build (kitting, assembly and test) and shipping.
• To process engineering change.
• To develop rule sets to aid automation and integrity and, to seek further automation in parallel with PLM strategy.

Professional Skills/Abilities:

• Clarity of written and verbal communication, particularly with Operations and Engineering colleagues
• Takes ownership of solving problems
• Attention to detail and data validation/checks.
• Ability to form rule sets and logic.
• Training will be provided in Syteline mechanics/data - including the Advanced Planning System (APS).
