The role:
In this role, the individual is responsible for conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) using standard workshop equipment like power supplies, digital multi-meters, and oscilloscopes, while ensuring all work aligns with quality and technical standards. They create test procedures and FAT documentation based on customer requirements, review Compliance Verification Matrices to identify key test needs, and fault-find electromechanical equipment using complex wiring, PCB schematics, and mechanical drawings. The role emphasises adherence to health and safety regulations, ISO 9001 standards, and company policies. It involves maintaining accurate documentation, effective communication with technical and non-technical personnel, training colleagues, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and occasionally assisting field service operations, all within a clean, organized workspace.

What we want from you:

• Extensive expertise in testing electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Skilled in creating detailed test plans and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures for new product launches.
• Capable of supporting production and quality assurance activities as required.
• HNC or equivalent qualification in Electronics and Control Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
