Senior Electrical Engineer

Project Location: West Dublin, Ireland

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor or Substation

Must hold either a EU Passport or Residency in Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the design management process is implemented, either by leading it or appointing a responsible individual.
• Ensure the commissioning process is followed, either by leading it or assigning a commissioning lead.
• Monitor project engineering to ensure compliance and provide mentoring to project engineers as needed.
• Provide structured mentoring to graduate engineers in line with the plan agreed with the Engineering Manager.
• Support the BU Lead in resolving significant technical issues that cannot be addressed on site.
• Prepare and deliver monthly progress reports to the BU Lead and Engineering Manager.
• Assist the BU Lead with recruiting and appointing engineering support for individual projects.
• Conduct technical reviews of tenders or manage outsourcing for larger reviews as required.
• Participate in tender interviews to promote technical capabilities.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions in the region.

Qualification

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience: MV, Emergency Power & Lighting
• Experience: Large scale EPC projects
