Your Role:

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and software systems for special-purpose machinery. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to create efficient, reliable, and safety-compliant control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, program, test, and debug PLC and motion control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Design and optimize electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panels.
  • Create HMI interfaces and robotic automation programs for material handling.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the machine lifecycle.
  • Contribute to standards development and best practices for control systems.
  • Travel domestically and internationally for installation, commissioning, and support.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in special-purpose machinery, automation, or control systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST/SCL), and PLC programming.
  • Strong ability to read, design, and edit electrical schematics.
  • Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley safety control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Bonus Skills:

  • HMI design experience (FactoryTalk View Studio, WinCC).
  • Knowledge of SINUMERIK, Simotion Scout, AutoCAD Electrical, or ePLAN.
  • Familiarity with robotic programming and integration.
