Job Title: SAP S/4 HANA Quality Process Engineer (UK)
Salary: Circa £48,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage/Bolton (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
The Opportunity:
We are working on a major change programme to migrate from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA across a group of businesses. This programme will impact several domain areas, and the implementation of S/4HANA will provide an opportunity for each domain to review its current tools and develop a roadmap for consolidation across the organization, delivering the necessary tools for business users.
This role will focus on ensuring the successful roll-out of S/4HANA across the Quality teams in the UK, while supporting the full implementation of S/4HANA Quality capabilities within the broader system. The role will require collaboration with the Group Quality teams, the programme core team, the Systems Integrator, and other internal stakeholders.
Working with key collaborators both inside and outside the business will be essential to delivering a successful solution. The ability to communicate a vision for the deployment and support the teams in improving the performance of the new system will be a critical deliverable.
While you must be able to work independently and be comfortable making decisions, you will receive support from senior levels within the organization to ensure the success of this significant, wide-ranging change programme. This is an exciting role for a determined individual looking to drive real change while pursuing career growth.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to improve Quality processes and maximize the benefits of S/4HANA within the Quality team by working closely with colleagues to ensure a high level of knowledge and understanding is achieved across the National Companies' Quality teams.
- Support the Quality input to the design and implementation of a harmonized process that can be implemented in S/4HANA. You will work with others to leverage and improve a single data source that adds context and value to the process.
- Achieve consensus on processes and communicate project issues and outputs to the Process Lead.
- Deliver a common set of S/4HANA Quality capabilities across the National Companies, within the boundaries of the defined common template. Act as the UK Quality point of contact, supporting the Process Lead and collaborating with the Systems Integrator.
- Represent the Quality team within the core project team, ensuring that Quality requirements are fully considered during the roll-out of the programme.
- Co-ordinate activities to meet the project plan and handle any changes systematically.
- Support programme meetings as requested by the Process and Programme Leads, creating a realistic plan for the Quality part of the project.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver high-level capabilities and ensure current and future benefits are realized.
- Report on status and progress, addressing risks, issues, scope changes, and quality concerns.
- Support knowledge sharing and skill-set development within the Quality team.
What We're Looking for:
- Experience in a Quality role.
- Experience with S/4HANA and/or other SAP products.
- Experience managing ERP roll-outs.
- Proven success in leading SAP S/4HANA programmes or similar initiatives.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to handle complex process analysis.
- Experience in change management and a solid understanding of organizational dynamics.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Ability to define and articulate a clear vision.
- Proactive and assertive in an international setting.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
- Comfortable making decisions for change with limited information available.

- Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)
- Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%
- Overtime: opportunity for paid overtime
- Flexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days
