Project Planner

Mane Energy are looking for Project Planner/Project Control Engineer for exciting long term upcoming project in UK.

Location: UK

Duties:

• Develop and implement the project controls framework, including the Work Breakdown Structure, overall project plan, code of accounts, project estimates, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Lead performance measurement activities for all aspects of the project, including engineering, contracts, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction.
• Design and create reports and management tools to identify issues and recommend corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct schedule optimization, studies, and cost-benefit analyses to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to the project controls team.
• Offer planning support to the project team, addressing all project planning-related aspects.
• Analyze updated project plans, identify risks or schedule conflicts, and report these to the project manager, highlighting potential impacts on critical project activities.
• Establish and execute policies, objectives, and standards for cost and schedule control and analysis.
• Identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling challenges.
• Review and approve project cost forecasts and progress reports.
• Ensure construction contracts are adequate in terms of cost and schedule requirements.

Requirements:

• Preferred: Degree in Engineering.
• Essential: Experience in E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) contracting and planning.
• Proficient in using Primavera P3 and P6 project planning software.
• Demonstrated experience with major projects.
• Ability to assess project risks and understand necessary contingencies.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and standards.
• Ability to implement effective cost control measures.
