Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring project delivery aligns with established timelines and budget constraints.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress to meet key milestones.
- Coordinate project resources, including workforce, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment of engineering activities with project goals.
- Conduct regular project meetings to update stakeholders, address issues, and support decision-making processes.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Prepare and present project progress reports for senior management and clients.
- Identify areas for process improvement and introduce best practices to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the energy or power sectors.
- Advanced project management expertise, encompassing planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams effectively.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles, best practices, and relevant industry standards.
- Proficient in using project management software and related tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
