Project Manager

Mane energy are currently working with leading EPC company who specialise in offshore wind and are looking for a Project Manager to focus on electrical scopes of work on German offshore substations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverable.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including Corrective Coordinators.
• Ensure a high level of stakeholder coordination through clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the preparation and review of project documentation, including permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with the procurement department to source materials and services.
• Evaluate supplier offers and manage purchase orders.
• Track and manage project resources, including equipment and personnel.
• Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed on all project sites.
• Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and financial's.
• Ensure accurate and timely project data entry and record-keeping.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the electrical sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical and industry standards.
• Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). (Desirable)
• Experience with offshore and onshore substations (Desirable)
• Familiarity with customs and logistics processes for import/export. (Desirable)
