Project Location: Helsinki, Finland
Project Type: Hyperscale Data Centre
Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in leading large-scale construction or engineering projects, particularly in data centre or industrial environments.
Eligibility: Must hold either an EU Passport or Residency in Finland.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for the project, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution and close-out.

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring alignment with client requirements and deadlines.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.

Client and Stakeholder Management:


  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.

  • Attend and lead project meetings, including internal reviews, engineering reviews, and client updates.

  • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget and Cost Management:


  • Oversee project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Manage variations, valuations, and change orders to ensure financial control.

  • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure all financial aspects of the project are accurately captured and reported.

Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE):


  • Drive a strong culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental responsibility across the project.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Project Delivery and Close-Out:


  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Oversee the handover process, including the preparation and submission of final documentation, such as safety files, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.

  • Manage the punch list process and ensure all snags are resolved before project close-out.

Key Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (essential).

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a project leadership role within the construction or engineering industry.

    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects, particularly in data centre, industrial, or commercial environments.

    • Strong experience in scheduling, budgeting, and cost management.

  • Leadership Skills:

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, industry standards, and best practices.

    • Familiarity with QHSE regulations and requirements.

  • Communication:

    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to clients and team members.
