Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor is advantageous

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and chair meetings with the team, Design team, and Client, ensuring follow-up and timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Actively participate in EHS and QA meetings, as well as morning whiteboard and evening schedule meetings as required.
- Implement the project audit plan, review weekly audits, address open items, and communicate findings to the Construction Manager, team, and BU Leads.
- Ensure audit findings are effectively shared with stakeholders, drive closure of open issues, and foster continuous improvement in audit quality.
- Communicate EHS alerts clearly and engage in relevant campaigns, including TBT, stand-downs, and demonstrations.
- Ensure compliance with all company SOPs and oversee project operations to meet Safety, Quality, and Environmental objectives.
- Promote workforce participation and adherence to established procedures.
- Fully review and understand project specifications and documentation, ensuring procurement and engineering align with project deadlines.
- Monitor actual progress against planned schedules, providing clear and concise reporting to the project team and senior management.
- Maintain expected project margins with regular commercial reviews, effectively managing budgets and costs.
- Attend and contribute to planned meetings, including TBT, SLT, and DABS, as well as client meetings to reinforce a strong QEHS approach.
- Maintain positive relationships with the client and their representatives while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide training opportunities for the team and subcontractors, setting clear training standards and mentoring the team by leading by example.
- Conduct weekly progress reviews with the project planner, implement strategies to keep the project on track, and issue project reports.
- Utilise project lookaheads to drive progress, coordinating with various project teams to meet deadlines.
- Establish and lead regular subcontractor meetings, aligning expectations with project requirements and ensuring clear communication.
- Empower the Construction Manager to set up and maintain a functional site, tracking performance against key KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
- 10+ years' experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
- Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural, and Architectural packages.
- Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively through expectation setting, delegation, and performance review.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
