About the role:

We are enhancing our Project Management & Project Controls (PM&PC) Function by implementing complementary, focused disciplines. Consequently, we are seeking a driven and experienced professional to develop and sustain a robust project estimating and cost management community, capability, and culture within our Mission Systems business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead a community of specialists in estimating and cost management, ensuring their professional development through mentoring and coaching.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the PM&PC Function Operations Lead to build a pipeline of qualified and experienced estimating and cost management professionals to meet delivery demands across the portfolio.

What we are Looking for

  • Project Estimating and Cost Management: Extensive experience with project estimating and cost management/control techniques, including estimating, forecasting, performance reporting (e.g., EVM), and quantitative risk analysis.
  • Project Leadership: Proven track record of delivering and leading estimating and cost management efforts within large, technically complex equipment or system delivery contracts.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with or experience using related software tools such as MSP, P6, Active Risk Manager, RiskHive, Deltec Cobra, Safran, or Primavera Risk Analyser.
  • Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organisational levels.
