Pre Construction Project Manager

Project Location: Dublin, Ireland

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor

Must hold either a EU Passport

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and create a project execution plan.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for internal project reviews and client meetings.
• Manage estimating, preconstruction, and business unit resources for bid projects.
• Collaborate with designers on detailed design development.
• Work with the delivery business unit to assemble the project team.
• Review tender deliverables and develop comprehensive responses.
• Ensure project information is shared with the team according to internal procedures.
• Drive critical reviews of projects and propose alternative delivery strategies.
• Assess construction methodologies to identify programme implications and temporary works needs.
• Develop the project schedule in coordination with the project team.
• Plan logistics and draft a logistics plan.
• Engage with the supply chain to identify potential partners for specific projects.
• Review the responsibility matrix to clarify bidding subcontractor scopes.
• Review subcontract proposals and perform technical and commercial evaluations for bidder selection.
• Ensure project control sheets and estimates are reviewed with the bid manager and estimators.
• Plan lifting requirements and develop a crane strategy.
• Identify project risks and create mitigation plans.
• Deliver additional tasks specific to individual projects.

Qualifications

• Third level degree in and Engineering subject (Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or similar)
• 5-10 years experience, including 5 as a Project Manager
• Experience in Preconstruction Project Management
• Project Management experience
