The role:

Are you passionate about designing high-integrity, complex systems? Join our Power Electronics team, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge products for nations and customers worldwide. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integrating hardware for motor control and feedback loops, supporting our Actuation Systems. Your responsibilities will span from early feasibility assessments to certification and transitioning products to production. By collaborating with diverse stakeholders within multi-disciplinary teams, you will ensure that our products meet quality, cost, and rate targets throughout the entire product life-cycle.

What we want from you:

  • Proven track record of enhancing supplier performance in terms of delivery and quality by utilising appropriate tools and lean methodologies.
  • Proficient in conducting capacity audits to identify key bottlenecks, yield, resources, and sub-tier mapping, providing a comprehensive industrial perspective of suppliers.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of a supplier portfolio, reporting performance metrics to designated projects, and effectively addressing supply chain risks until resolution.
  • Evaluate the capability of the supply chain and suppliers to meet MBDA's delivery profile, comparing current and future states.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of methodologies such as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) to facilitate root cause analysis and the development of improvement plans within the supply chain.
