Panel Wirer

We are seeking experienced Panel Wirers for a manufacturing company based in Stoke-On-Trent. As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for the wiring and assembly of control panels and electrical systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. You should be skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Panel Wiring: Perform point-to-point wiring, cable crimping, terminating, and looming work within control panels and electrical systems.
• Component Assembly: Assemble and fit electrical components into panels, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Engineering Drawings: Read and understand engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to carry out work effectively.
• General Fitting: Conduct general fitting tasks, including marking out, drilling, and tapping as required for panel assembly.
• Tool Proficiency: Competently use various hand tools and power tools to complete wiring and fitting tasks efficiently.

Key Skills:

• Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in panel wiring or electrical assembly.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in point-to-point wiring, cable crimping, terminating, and looming.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to read and accurately follow engineering drawings and instructions.
• Tool Usage: Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Vehicle Experience: Experience working on vehicles is an advantage but not essential.
