We're looking for a skilled NDT Technician to process and inspect products in line with technical drawings and specifications. Candidates with experience in aerospace castings and welds are particularly suited to this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and document findings per company procedures and quality standards.
  • Apply inspection techniques aligned with your qualifications and the product's requirements.
  • Conduct process control checks according to relevant standards.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to trainees and Level 1 team members.
  • Interpret engineering drawings/specifications and adapt them into practical inspection instructions.
  • Maintain technical proficiency in all aspects of Penetrant Inspection (Level 2).
  • Contribute to improvements in procedures and standard operations.
  • Support safety checks, compliance with health and safety standards, and process evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the NDT Team Leader on audits and propose enhancements.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Certified Level 2 in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (experience with other NDT methods is advantageous).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with a variety of measurement tools.
  • Aerospace industry experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of COSHH and its application in workplace safety.
  • Strong IT skills.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 - 12:00
