Job Title: Mechanical Inspector (Subsea)
Location: Bergen, Norway
Employment Type: Short-term Part-time (Immediate Start) transitioning to Full-time until at least December 2026

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Inspector with a strong subsea background to join our team at in Bergen, Norway. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding and non-destructive testing (NDT) and have either a formal audit qualification or demonstrable audit experience. This role will initially start on a part-time basis and transition to full-time in the near future, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical project audits in the subsea sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical inspections on subsea equipment and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Perform welding and NDT evaluations, identifying potential issues and ensuring quality control.
• Support project audits by applying audit experience or qualifications, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to provide technical insights and support.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to audit reports.

Requirements:

• Strong subsea industry background, with proven mechanical inspection experience.
• Proficient in welding inspection and NDT techniques.
• Formal audit qualification or relevant audit experience.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Must be based in Norway, preferably local to Bergen.
