Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Power Station is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of 10MW Wartsila engines in the power plant and gas substation.
  • Ensure all mechanical systems and equipment are operating efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of engines, identifying and troubleshooting issues related to mechanical systems and components.
  • Lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support in their daily operations.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to reduce downtime and extend the life of critical mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during maintenance and operational activities.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., electrical, operations) to ensure seamless coordination between mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage and control resources, including tools, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal performance and minimal delays.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Assist in the development of troubleshooting and emergency response procedures for mechanical failures.

Qualification

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, preferably within a power plant or energy-related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly in relation to large-scale engines (experience with Wartsila engines is highly desirable).
  • In-depth understanding of power plant operations, including gas substations and energy export to the grid.
