Man have a fantastic opportunity that has arisen to join one of the UK's leading building services providers, specializing in innovative, offsite-prefabricated energy solutions. Operating across the UK & Ireland, our client delivers cutting-edge, sustainable building service solutions from their Northern Ireland facility, supplying a range of turnkey commercial energy centers and district heating projects.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Site Manager to oversee the successful execution of a high-profile project in Frankfurt.
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring smooth coordination between teams, timely completion, and adherence to quality and safety standards. You will lead a team of Project Coordinators, Mechanical Construction Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors while working closely with the Site Manager and wider MEP team.
This role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage client relationships while ensuring that all works meet technical specifications and company objectives.
- Project Execution: Oversee all site activities from early coordination to project handover, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Team Leadership: Develop and manage your site team to meet high performance and efficiency targets.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Attend site meetings (DABS, weekly progress meetings), provide updates, address risks, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Resource & Subcontractor Management: Assess workforce needs, procure materials and equipment, and oversee subcontractor performance.
- HSEQ Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company health, safety, environmental, and quality policies. Develop and maintain RAMS documentation.
- Cost & Budget Control: Track material and labour costs, manage procurement, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Planning & Scheduling: Prepare accurate work programmes and monitor progress against key project milestones.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure correct and up-to-date drawings are in use, manage installation processes, and complete all necessary testing and commissioning documentation.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily reports, track roadblocks, produce 4-week lookaheads, and assist in compiling ownership and maintenance manuals.
- Leadership Experience: 3+ years managing site teams within mechanical installation and MEP projects.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in mechanical systems (CW & LTHW), particularly within data centres.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and capable of managing technical documentation.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to plan workloads, prioritise key project elements, and ensure smooth execution.
- Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy in tracking project progress.
- Communication & Client Management: Confident in liaising with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Reliability & Work Ethic: Punctual, proactive, and committed to delivering projects at the highest standard.
- Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Rotation: 10/4 rotation
- Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
