Mechanical QAQC Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Oversee mechanical systems during the construction and commissioning phases, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• 
  Conduct inspections of HVAC systems, pipework, and other mechanical installations.
• 
  Review mechanical work, ensuring compliance with design and industry regulations.
• 
  Document and report inspection results, including any issues and corrective actions required.
• 
  Work with the project management team to resolve quality issues and ensure timely completion of mechanical tasks.
• 
  Assist in reviewing mechanical design drawings and specifications to confirm compliance with requirements.
• 
  Promote and enforce health and safety standards across all mechanical works on-site.

Qualification

• 
  Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification.
• 
  Certification in QAQC or mechanical inspection practices (e.g., ASME, ISO 9001).
• 
  Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, standards, and regulations.
• 
  3-5 years of experience in mechanical QAQC within data centres, pharmaceutical, or similar MEP-heavy sectors.
• 
  Skilled in the inspection of HVAC systems, chilled water pipework, and mechanical plant installations.
• 
  Familiarity with pressure testing, system flushing, and commissioning protocols.
• 
  Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and method statements.
