Mechanical Package Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical package on-site, overseeing HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Maintain project schedule, budget, and resource allocation for mechanical works
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and project specifications
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain quality and safety
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to address defects and handover requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders
• Collaborate with electrical and civil teams for coordination of works
• Lead and support site teams, resolving technical issues as they arise
• Prepare reports, method statements, and risk assessments
• Track material deliveries and manage supply chain issues

Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience managing mechanical packages on large-scale construction projects
• Strong background in HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Knowledge of mechanical regulations, industry standards, and safety procedures
• Experience working with general contractors on data centre or industrial projects
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents
• Familiarity with installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
