Mechanical Fitter Welder

Job Details:

Mane Infrastructure are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support shutdown-style works at the British Sugar plant in Newark. This is a heavy industrial role focused on structural modifications.

Scope of Work:

• 
  Removal of an old compensate plate on top of a dryer
• 
  Plasma cutting of existing components
• 
  Rigging and lifting plate off the unit (team assist or crane support)
• 
  Reinstallation of the plate
• 
  MIG welding to complete the fix

Requirements:

• 
  Experience in a similar heavy mechanical fitting role
• 
  Skilled in plasma cutting and MIG welding
• 
  Previous industrial/shutdown environment experience preferred
• 
  Steel toe boots required (all other PPE provided)
