Mechanical Design Engineer - Integration

Are you an experience Mechanical Design Engineer looking for their next opportunity?

Join our exciting team based in Germany, on a contract basis beginning as soon as possible, and be responsible for;

• responsible for the conception and evaluation of design verifications and qualification of mechanical and mechatronic components, e.g. car systems, hydraulics, fuel tank, fluid lines, brackets etc....
• responsible for the project lifecycle including concept, design, prototyping tests
• being in charge of producing designs (including the respective tooling) and drawings as well as providing full documentation in English
• ensure on-time delivery of projects within agreed cost limits

The successful candidate will:

• have a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent
• show at least two years of experience in design of motorsport components
• have good design skills in conjunction with good knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and materials
• display high level knowledge and relevant experience of motorsport parts layout and the design of high-performance components in the area of e.g. F1, WEC, WRC or DTM
• be proficient with CATIA V5: solids, surfaces & drafting, FEM and the classical calculation methods, data management systems (Teamcenter) and MS Office
• speak English on a professional level, German skills are an advantage

Key experience that we are looking for.

• Catia
• Previously worked on motorsport projects (does not need to be F1)
• Power Unit / Engine / powertrain / mechanical systems like high pressure hydraulics, fuel systems, water cooling systems
