Overview

The primary functions are to maintain all company owned equipment; be prepared to visit client sites to carry out repairs/servicing on mobilised company equipment; and keep up-to-date service records and liaise With the Certification Coordinator on all matters regarding certification.

Description

  • Participate in daily Tool Box Talks.
  • Perform company operations in a safe and controlled manner and ensure the safety Of yourself, colleagues and associated personal Whilst doing so. Execute as directed all workshop and yard related activities including maintenance, fabrication, and equipment function testing, ensure all equipment requested is allocated and prepared for operational jobs in line with load out requirements.
  • Ensure any detects reported from jobs are investigated and rectified to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Ensure personal house-keeping is maintained to a high standard to improve efficiency and safety at all times.
  • Ensure all equipment is stored in designated areas of the workshop/yard.
  • Ensure that company's Status Label System is used at all times.
  • Ensure that all company's procedures are adhered to.
  • Liaise with stores to ensure there are spare parts within the store to cover routine maintenance of all equipment.
  • Mentor trainees during their time in the workshop.
  • Assist and work closely with the Logistics Coordinator regarding allocation of kit for Mobilisation.
  • Ensure that all company's equipment is kept clean and tidy
  • Perform Other duties Which may be required as directed by the Maintenance Foreman or Workshop Manager.
  • Adhere to Company's policies and procedures. Represent company 's best interests at all times.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven mechanical background ideally with diesel engines, fluid pumps and nitrogen equipment.
  • Must have previous experience working in the Oil and Gas industry.

Preferred:

  • Overhead crane
  • Forklift truck license up to 16T

Required Experience

Essential:

  • Sound technical knowledge of Pipeline and Process testing operations and the equipment used.
  • Strong founding in large diesel units

preferred:

  • Experience working within a similar discipline
