Job Title: Manufacturing Programme Manager - Prototype & Development

Location: Stevenage

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 days per week on-site due to the operational nature of this role

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions: All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).


The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Programme Manager to help deliver at the front end of our groundbreaking manufacturing process. Lead a multi-functional manufacturing team comprising Engineering, Planning & Control, and Operations staff to deliver prototype and development projects in a fast-paced and complex environment.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven track record in the delivery of complex prototype and/or development projects as an accomplished Operations or Programme Manager.
  • Stakeholder Management: Substantial experience interfacing and effectively influencing customers and suppliers, as well as briefing senior management.
  • Leadership: Proven management experience leading multi-functional teams in a matrix or cross-functional organisation.
  • Project Management: Experience managing project scope, identifying deviations, and negotiating changes and their impact on the overall project.
  • Detail-Oriented: Able to identify risks and opportunity trends within cost, schedule, and quality data and formulate plans to mitigate risks and deliver opportunities.
  • Proactive: Enthusiastic individual who can prioritize and understand strategic business needs while managing day-to-day tactical decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with project planning software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Self-Motivated: High degree of self-motivation and drive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
