Mane Energy are looking for experienced Lead Pipeline Engineer to join our client who is one of the major EPCI contractor withing the O&G industry, in relation to office in UK for international projects. You will play a pivotal role in the design, execution, and management of pipeline projects within the Oil & Gas. You will work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project success.

Duration: September, 2025 (Potential 6 months extension)

Key Tasks

Lead the pipeline engineering efforts across multiple projects from concept to commissioning.

  • Coordinate with EPCI contractors
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Oversee the design and engineering of pipelines, including material selection, route optimization, and stress analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, DNV).
  • Conduct and review pipeline integrity assessments, risk analyses, and feasibility studies.
  • Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and EPCI contractors to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities.
  • Monitor the progress of pipeline engineering activities, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Manage technical aspects of pipeline installation, including offshore and onshore construction, welding, and testing.
  • Address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction and installation phases.
  • Support procurement processes by providing technical specifications and evaluating vendor bids.
  • Develop and enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols throughout the engineering process.
  • Ensure all pipeline designs and installations adhere to the highest safety standards, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Participate in safety reviews, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends in pipeline engineering and renewable energy.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance pipeline design, efficiency, and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering (or a related discipline). A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) o
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas or relatable Energy sectors.
  • Extensive experience working with EPCI contractors on large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in pipeline design software (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II, PipeSim).
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
