Junior SCADA Project Manager

Description:Key Responsibilities:

• Validate the Current Asset Register: Conduct thorough audits and validations of the existing SCADA asset register to ensure all equipment is accounted for and accurately recorded.
• Document and Record Findings: Maintain comprehensive documentation of findings, including asset status, issues, and areas for improvement. Ensure that all data is accurately recorded for future reference.
• Support Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to ongoing improvement projects by identifying areas of enhancement, offering solutions, and ensuring that SCADA systems operate at peak efficiency.
• Collaborate with Multi-Discipline Teams: Work closely with engineers, IT specialists, and other technical teams to address issues, improve processes, and implement system upgrades.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all SCADA activities comply with industry regulations, best practices, and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, Siemens).
• Experience in asset management software and data recording tools.
• Understanding of SCADA system cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
• Industry Experience: Experience in sectors like manufacturing, automotive, energy, or aviation is valuable.
• GWO qualifications to work offshore on offshore substations and Wind Turbine generators.
