Mane Energy are looking for large number of Instrument Commissioning Technicians to join our client on onshore and offshore upcoming projects in Europe. Our client is one of the international engineering companies who won major service commissioning projects in different locations in Europe.

Job Title: Instrument Commissioning Technician

Location: Denmark, Norway, Austria, Germany, France as key locations

Start Date: January, 2025

Duration: 1 year +

Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (When offshore), 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off (When onshore)

Key Tasks:

  • Involved in commissioning, testing and repair of fire and gas safety systems including line of sight, IR detectors and gas detectors.
  • Commissioning/loop checking instrument loops inc. pressure, flow, level, TC, RTD, wireless transmitters, control valves, well head valves, ESDV valves.
  • Identifying and correcting faults in instrument loops and drawings.
  • Verify that systems are installed and configured according to design specifications.
  • Perform functional tests and troubleshoot any issues to ensure system readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams during the commissioning phase.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Document commissioning activities, including test results and system performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in O&G or relatable industry
  • Trade qualification (apprenticeship or diploma)
  • BOSIET - CA - EBS (for offshore)
  • OGUK Medical (for offshore)
  • Depending of country, could be required more certifications - tbc
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members
