Installation Engineer

Project Location: UK London & Surrounding / Europe

Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning

• Install SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems on large diesel generators, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Commission SCR systems to guarantee functionality and compliance with emission control standards.
• Prepare comprehensive installation documentation, including system diagrams and test results.

System Integration and Customisation

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate SCR systems into pre-existing generator setups.
• Resolve technical challenges related to control system integration and compatibility with other equipment.

Technical Support

• Provide troubleshooting expertise and resolve issues that arise during installation or post-commissioning phases.
• Offer ongoing customer support by advising on system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Maintenance and Upgrades

• Perform regular maintenance on SCR systems, including component replacements (e.g., catalysts, dosing units)
• Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance SCR system efficiency and maintain compliance with evolving emission standards.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure SCR system installations meet both local and national emission regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and strictly follow safety protocols during installations and maintenance tasks.

Qualification:

• Proven experience in installation and commissioning of SCR systems or similar technologies, preferably in data centre construction or power station projects.
• Strong technical background in diesel generators, power systems, or industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with emission standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
