We are seeking a highly skilled HV Control & Protection Engineer to support high-voltage (HV) projects across Denmark. This role will focus on protection system design, configuration, and commissioning for power transmission and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement protection and control systems for high-voltage substations and transmission projects.
- Configure, test, and commission Digsi and Siprotec 5 protection relays.
- Develop and review relay settings, protection schemes, and coordination studies to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting to optimize protection performance.
- Support SCADA and communication protocols integration with protection devices.
- Collaborate with project teams, site engineers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and grid code requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in HV protection and control systems, including system design, relay configuration, and commissioning.
- Hands-on expertise with Digsi and Siprotec 5 for relay protection settings and testing.
- Strong knowledge of power system protection principles, fault analysis, and grid codes.
- Experience with SCADA systems, communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3), and automation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
- Fluent in English (Danish proficiency is a plus).
