Mane Energy are looking for experienced HSE Manager to join our client on permanent basis to be involved in exciting offshore projects:

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Duties:

Preparation of quality and HSE plans and other HSE-relevant documents

Conducting audits and inspections at suppliers, on ships and in offshore facilities directly on site

Support project management in HSE projects with a strong focus on offshore locations and customer projects

Representation of HSE concerns in meetings and negotiations with authorities, project partners and suppliers, also directly on site for offshore projects

Development and implementation of procedures to comply with established HSE standards and optimise HSE processes in the offshore wind industry

Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and customer-specific requirements for occupational health and environmental protection, including the implementation of necessary measures on site

Review, evaluation and approval of HSE documents and procedures from suppliers and customers

Support in tender management processes and preparation of tender documents under HSE aspects

Review and preparation of risk assessments

Training and coaching of employees on HSE issues, both in the office and directly on offshore installations

Promoting safety culture on site

Requirements

Completed studies or training in engineering, safety, environmental sciences or comparable

Certified occupational safety specialist or comparable qualification (e.g. Sifa, NEBOSH, SIGEKO)

Experience in the offshore (wind) industry and in dealing with offshore projects

Knowledge of document review and safety by design

Good knowledge of German and English

Proactive and structured way of working

Willingness to travel regularly and to work offshore

Advantageous: Additional qualifications in fire safety, explosion protection or security systems
