Hardware Test Verification Architect
Location: Stevenage, Bolton, or Bristol (Relocation package offered)
Work Arrangement: Flexible approach to onsite and remote working, typically 2-3 days a week on site
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience

The Role:
Are you looking to shape top-tier products in a classified environment? This is an amazing opportunity for a Hardware Test Verification Architect to broaden their view of the development and manufacturing processes through interaction with multiple skills within a project or programme.
You will join a motivated, focused, and multi-disciplined team where communication and the ethos of sharing information are key. The team is dedicated to improving the way it works and how it interacts with other functions, with a strong interest in the development of its people.



Key Responsibilities:
? Develop and Implement Test Strategies: Formulate and execute comprehensive test strategies for new products.
? Design and Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE): Create efficient, reliable ATE solutions for hardware components.
? Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with manufacturing and design teams to ensure seamless integration of test processes.
? Enhance Test Processes: Continuously improve test methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
? Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and generate comprehensive test reports.
? Support Development and Production: Provide support during development and production phases to ensure standards and specifications are met.
? Ensure Compliance: Ensure all test activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.? Lead and Mentor: Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
What We're Looking for From You:
Required:

  • Ideally degree qualified or suitable equivalent experience with demonstrable experience in or track record of Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering fields.
  • Experience and awareness of Development and Production Test Techniques and implementation.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite with good communication skills.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of structured Model-based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of test strategies and Automated Test Equipment for new products.
  • Some experience collaborating with Manufacturing Teams and Design teams.


Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to gain UK government security clearance. To achieve this, you must hold British or dual nationality.
