Field Service Engineer

Project Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor is advantageous
This is to work on Diesel Generators
Must hold either a EU passport or Visa for Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and extensive maintenance on client static generators as instructed by the service office.
• Provide timely and precise feedback to the service office after each customer visit.
• Prepare clear, written reports detailing onsite observations, including required parts.
• Complete all documentation accurately, including fault diagnostics, servicing, load bank testing, and specification sheet completion.
• Collect fluid samples from the engine, including from day and bulk tanks as needed.
• Issue electronic Waste Consignment Notes following waste disposal procedures.
• Ensure the upkeep of onsite conditions, including the cleanliness of generators and managing spills, in line with Health & Safety protocols.
• Address the specific needs of designated clients, ensuring services are delivered in a professional and proactive manner.
• Participate in the On-Call Rota as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in the maintenance and repair of diesel generators
• Knowledge of one or more diesel generator/engine manufacturers such as SDMO, FGW, CAT, Cummins, MTU, Mitsubishi, Volvo, John Deere, Perkins, Doosan, and Scania
• Flexibility to travel within Frankfurt and occasionally to other locations
