Job Title: Approved JIB Gold Electrician
Location: Fife, Perth, and Aberdeen, Scotland (Travel to various construction sites)
Hourly Rate: £24/hour
Contract Duration: 1 year
Company Overview: Mane Contract Services is partnering with a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor experiencing rapid growth across Scotland. Known for their work on major construction projects, they seek a qualified and skilled Approved JIB Gold Electrician to support their expanding operations across Fife, Perth, and Aberdeen.
Role Summary: This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who will be responsible for a range of electrical duties, primarily focusing on cabling and testing across multiple construction sites. With provided transportation and resources, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the safety, compliance, and quality of electrical installations on active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installation work including cabling and testing on various construction projects.
- Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure all installations comply with industry standards.
- Work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure project goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Document and report any issues or defects in installation, troubleshooting them promptly as required.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with site regulations and maintaining safe working practices.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician status) - required.
- ECS Card - mandatory for site access.
- IPAF Certification - desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience as an electrician in construction or industrial environments, with a focus on cabling, installations, and testing.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, and best practices.
