Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Service Engineer to join our client, a leader in industrial technology. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning advanced systems, as well as diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.

This position requires regular travel across the UK and Ireland, with up to three nights per week staying away from home.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in electrical fault-finding is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics is a must.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Valid UK driving license (essential).
  • Flexibility and willingness to stay away from home up to three nights per week.

No prior experience with robots or robotics is necessary-comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the skills required to work with advanced robotic systems.


What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Maintenance and repair experience on industrial equipment.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a passion for hands-on engineering.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with robotic or automation systems is a bonus, but not required. Full training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of independent and team-based work.

Training & Development:

Specialist training is available to ensure you are fully equipped to work on advanced robotic and automation systems. This includes hands-on and theoretical training designed to enhance your existing expertise and prepare you for success in this role.


Hours of Work:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: Early finish at 1:30 PM for a better work-life balance
