Mane are looking for a skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead our electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. The successful candidate will manage every project aspect, from design review to on-site execution, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and profitability.

You must have experience in managing projects like this before - NO IT Project managers or anyone who has not managed on an active Construction site before will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Oversee and ensure project delivery within timeframes and budgets.
  • Monitor project profitability and keep all stakeholders, including clients and Directors, informed.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Team to review designs and working drawings, capturing any additional costs or potential delays.
  • Develop project schedules

Client & Team Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, architects, and main contractors on project-related matters.
  • Delegate tasks effectively within the Project Team, including site supervisors, electrical operatives, and laborers, fostering strong working relationships.

Health & Safety and Compliance

  • Prepare health and safety files, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for subcontractors, managing project variations, valuations, and final accounts.

Technical Oversight

  • Review client and contractor-provided drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct technical submittals and resolve RFIs.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, and plant needs, ordering in advance to prevent delays.

Financial Management

  • Handle financial aspects, including valuations, costing, applications, variations, and final account agreements.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong communicator with an ability to build relationships under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with solid IT skills for data entry and operating systems.
  • High attention to detail, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent customer service skills, especially in meeting tight deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, industry regulations, and best practices
