Mane are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their client, a well established M&E contractor to manage and support their projects across the UK.

You will have experience running large scale commercial projects and have a strong background with Electrics.

The role will be office based in their brand new offices, recently refurbished, for 3 days a week and the other 2 will be spent visiting sites.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all phases of a project, from pre-construction to commissioning.
  • Direct and coordinate operational staff, including the planning and organization of on-site labor and subcontractors.
  • Manage the procurement of necessary equipment, materials, and logistics.
  • Handle project administration tasks, especially related to NEC contract processes.
  • Produce and review health, safety, and environmental (HSE) documentation and procedures.
  • Compile and manage quality assurance documentation.
  • Update key construction documents, ensuring coordination with project teams (e.g., programmes, working drawings).
  • Assist the commercial and quantity surveying team with account administration and notifications.
  • Organize and manage electronic filing and site documentation.
  • Attend and participate in meetings with internal teams and external clients, both on-site and at client premises.
  • Administer and manage subcontractors on-site.
  • Provide training and support to assist in employee development and progression.
  • Report directly to the head of the department.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, with an electrical-specific qualification preferred.
  • Relevant management qualification.
  • Electrical installation or engineering experience/qualifications.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good time management with the flexibility to travel if required.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and CDM regulations.
  • Willingness to travel across the country for various projects.
