Electrical Project Engineer

Project Location: Skien, Norway
Project Type: Data Centre Construction

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Manage the electrical systems for data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
• 
  Review electrical design drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• 
  Coordinate electrical installation, commissioning, and testing activities.
• 
  Monitor progress and quality of electrical work, ensuring it aligns with project timelines and standards.
• 
  Resolve electrical engineering issues on-site, providing technical solutions when required.
• 
  Collaborate with electrical contractors, MEP teams, and other project stakeholders.
• 
  Ensure electrical systems are safely installed and tested to meet regulatory standards.
• 
  Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and test records.
  

Qualifications

• 
  BEng or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• 
  Valid electrical trade qualification (advantageous).
• 
  Site safety certification as required per country (e.g., Safe Pass, ECS).
• 
  3-6 years of experience delivering electrical packages on complex construction projects.
• 
  Hands-on understanding of LV/MV distribution, power and lighting systems, containment, and BMS integration.
• 
  Experience coordinating between design, site, QAQC, and commissioning teams.
• 
  Strong documentation and reporting skills - must be able to track progress, identify issues, and push solutions.
