Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Project Location: Gävle or Katrineholm, Sweden

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor or Substation

Must hold either a EU Passport or Residency in Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the work scope.
• Monitor delivery of scope and adherence to project requirements.
• Communicate deadlines and commissioning programme milestones.
• Supervise and report on commissioning programme progress and deadlines.
• Supervise and, if required, attend Electrical Vendor FATs and FWTs.
• Work with UPS, switchgear, generators, MV, and BMS controls.
• Organise, attend, and contribute to daily/weekly commissioning meetings with internal teams and vendors.
• Prepare and update weekly commissioning vendor progress reports for submission to commissioning management.
• Coordinate with the Project QA/QC department to achieve shared objectives.
• Coordinate with the Project AP department to ensure alignment with commissioning requirements.
• Track and obtain approval for relevant project electrical commissioning documents, such as test scripts and compliance statements.
• Witness all vendor commissioning activities against approved project documentation.
• Track receipt, review, and compliance of project commissioning documentation to achieve the necessary commissioning level sign-off.
• Conduct commissioning tagging processes and procedures.
• Oversee and manage all day-to-day on-site commissioning operations.

Qualification

• Relevant certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience e.g NVQ
• Minimum of 3+ Years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects is desirable.
• Experience of working on LV/MV or HV systems with commissioning experience.
• Electrical Testing & Verification with min 3 years' experience
