About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our client on a freelance contract basis, focusing on cutting-edge battery technology development for future vehicle units. This role involves working on a completely supplier-developed unit, which, although not part of the current architecture, is sold with the complete vehicle and falls under our R155 relevance envelope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk analysis and system specification.
  • Develop and finalize the Cyber Security status in collaboration with the internal team.
  • Provide expert consultancy on Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), Goals and Claims, Cyber Security Concept, and Cyber Security Specification.
  • Create and review Test Specifications, Test Plans, and Test Reports.
  • Ensure the issuance of the R155 installation certificate

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in Cyber Security, particularly within the automotive sector.
  • Understanding of Automotive Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) Assessment.
  • Strong background in Embedded Systems and Software.
  • Experience with R155 installation certification processes.
  • Ability to perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and implement effective controls.
  • Solid understanding of Cyber Security concepts and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and consultancy skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in automotive Cyber Security.
  • Knowledge of battery technology development and its integration with vehicle systems.
  • Prior experience working with regulatory authorities to obtain R155 installation certificates.

Additional Information:

  • This contract is Hybrid working and will require routine travel to our client's facility in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • This role requires immediate attention to meet tight deadlines for the R155 installation certificate.
  • The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to drive the project's Cyber Security aspects to completion.
