Are you an experienced Control Systems Engineer looking for a role where you can see your designs come to life on site?
We're representing a well-established and fast-growing control systems and automation solutions provider working across a range of industries, including water treatment, waste processing, industrial manufacturing, and fire training systems.
Due to increasing project demand, they are looking for a skilled engineer with a strong electrical and automation background to join their expanding team and play a key role in delivering tailored solutions from concept to commissioning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop PLC and SCADA-based control systems

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs

  • Collaborate with internal engineers and project teams to deliver complete solutions

  • Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and service support

  • Troubleshoot, test, and refine system performance

  • Produce documentation including technical reports, test results, and handover packs

Ideal Candidate:


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in PLC/SCADA programming and controls engineering

  • Competent in reading and working from electrical drawings and P&IDs

  • Familiar with Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 (beneficial)

  • Background in control systems within process or industrial environments

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel when required

  • Based within commutable distance to Uttoxeter, or willing to relocate
