Job Title: Composite Laminator

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

We are seeking experienced composite laminators to join the Clean Room of one of our esteemed clients, a leading manufacturer of composite components for various Formula One teams, high-end automotive designers, and innovative industry disruptors. With ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, they consistently exceed the highest industry standards to support and deliver for their clients.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have prior experience working in the automotive or Formula 1 industry as a composite laminator or in a similar role.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, grounded in teamwork and collaboration.
• Be able to work individually and as part of a team on larger projects.
• Demonstrate passion and drive for excellence, including traceability and accountability in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Exhibit a high degree of integrity and self-motivation.
• Thrive in practical environments that require a hands-on approach to learning and development.
• Have exceptional hand-eye coordination and a keen eye for detail.
• Be computer literate and able to utilise production management platforms to log work progression and Bill of Materials (BoM) usage.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Reporting to the Clean Room Supervisor, you will complete a wide variety of work across both automotive and Formula 1 markets.
• Occasionally, you may be asked to assist in other areas of the business, such as Research and Development cells or the Breakout department during peak build seasons.
• You will maintain the highest standards as laid out in the laminating policies and procedures and aid in maintaining the company's ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. This includes utilising production management software to job-on and job-off your work and maintaining any records required by customers.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor.

You will also be expected to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality, which may require flexibility in your working hours. Overtime is paid at 1.5x your hourly pay, with 2x on applicable Sundays and Public Holidays.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in laminating (3 - 5+ years essential)
• Previous experience working in both Formula 1 and high-end automotive environments (desirable)
• Experience operating autoclaves and ovens (desirable)

Pay: £24,000.00 - £38,000.00 per year
